This bass was commissioned by an Austrian bassist from the Bruchner Symphony in Linz.
It is my interpretation of an anonymous Northern English bass ca 1900.
Made from European spuce and maple

Gamba shaped with a flat back featuring the responsive bracing system.
String Length: 1050 mm
Length of back: 1145 mm
Upper bout: 562 mm
Centre bout: 455 mm
Lower bout: 708 mm
Ribs: 187 - 220 mm
